Services

Early Intervention ASAM 0.5

Targeted support for individuals who are at risk or showing early signs of substance use problems but don't yet meet criteria for full SUD diagnosis. This is prevention-focused care that helps you address concerns before they worsen. Typically involves 1–2 hours per week of counseling or education.

Outpatient Services ASAM 1.0

Supported care for individuals who have achieved initial stability and want to maintain remission over time. This is maintenance-level care focused on accountability, ongoing counseling, and recovery support. Maximum of 8 hours per week. Ideal for people in later-stage recovery who want continued structure.

Outpatient Therapy ASAM 1.5

Our primary level of care. ASAM Level 1.5 is the standard outpatient therapy model for substance use disorder treatment. It includes regularly scheduled one-on-one sessions (typically less than 9 hours per week) focused on:

  • Individual counseling and motivational interviewing

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for substance use

  • Relapse prevention skill-building

  • Trauma-informed care when relevant

  • Treatment planning and goal-setting

  • ASAM dimensional reassessment over time

This level is appropriate for adults who:

  • Don't need intensive outpatient (IOP) or inpatient treatment

  • Have stable living environments

  • Can attend sessions independently

  • Want structured support for meaningful change

Our Clinical Methods

Beyond ASAM, we integrate several evidence-based therapeutic approaches into our work:

Motivational Interviewing (MI)
A collaborative, non-judgmental approach that helps you explore and resolve ambivalence about change. MI is particularly effective for early-stage change and has strong research support in SUD treatment.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Helps you identify and change thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to substance use. CBT builds coping skills you can use in real-life situations.

Harm Reduction
A practical, compassionate approach that supports any reduction in harm — whether that's cutting back, stopping, or managing use more safely. We don't pressure you into abstinence-only goals unless that's what you want.

Trauma-Informed Care
Recognizes that substance use concerns often intersect with past trauma. We create a safe space where trauma can be addressed without shame or re-traumatization.

Relapse Prevention
Focuses on identifying triggers, building coping skills, and creating a sustainable plan for stability. We view relapse not as failure, but as information about what needs to change in your recovery plan.
